Pergola Builders in PGA Village Verano
Verano is the newer side of PGA Village in Port St. Lucie. The houses are recent, the lanais are planned, and the association still reviews what you add overhead.
Yards in PGA Village Verano
These are newer stucco houses on slab, with a lanai that was poured as part of the plan and a yard the HOA already maintains. Many lanais are open to a golf or lake view, which is the whole reason a solid roof is the wrong product and a louvered pergola is the conversation. Screen cages, where they exist, set the height before we do. We measure that cage. We do not guess it from the street.
Verano is western Port St. Lucie sandy ground, graded to community lakes. Posts need real footings in that sand. A patio slab that was poured for foot traffic is not automatically a footing. Summer storms dump water fast and then the sun returns, which is hard on wood and ordinary on powder-coated aluminum. The lot is flat compared with a river bluff. Drainage is a swale, not a hill.
What the visit is usually about
The visit is the lanai dimensions, the slider location, and whether you want the roof to move. Motorized louvers need a nearby outlet we confirm, not assume. Installation is the sequence from that visit to the walkthrough. PGA Village’s original side has its own page.
Newer communities sometimes tell owners the association is the only approval. For a roofed pergola, City of Port St. Lucie still permits the structure, and Florida Building Code still sets the wind design. Send the architectural guidelines with the form. We would rather read a banned color before we draw it.
Next step: the installation process, the services list, or the estimate form.
