Pergola Builders in The Reserve
The Reserve is an established Port St. Lucie neighborhood with subdivision lots, not a golf resort and not a canal plat. The patio is a rectangle. The rules are still written down.
Yards in The Reserve
Houses are single-family homes from the years when Port St. Lucie filled in between the original plats and the western master plans. Stucco or block, slab, a lanai, sometimes a pool. Yards are deep enough for a freestanding frame and often better as an attached span across the slider. Neighbors can see the posts. That is an HOA issue and a design issue at the same time.
Flat sandy lots, drainage to the street and to nearby ponds. Footings are typical Port St. Lucie sand footings. Irrigation and a pool deck are the two things we refuse to core without a plan. Trees in The Reserve are older than in Riverland and younger than in Floresta, so shade is partial. The pergola covers the part the tree misses in the afternoon.
What the visit is usually about
A straightforward lanai span is the usual Reserve job. Aluminum and attached or freestanding cover it. Hidden Oaks and Woodland Trails are similar established neighborhoods with their own pages.
If The Reserve’s association has an architectural form, that form and the City of Port St. Lucie permit both get filled out. Florida Building Code is the code on the drawings. No association does not mean no permit. A roof over a patio is still a structure.
Next step: the installation process, the services list, or the estimate form.
